Bear-Paw uses a variety of ways to educate landowners, town officials, members, and potential members about land conservation issues, the value of land protection, and our organization.
The "Bear-Paw Print" is the semi-annual newsletter that Bear-Paw distributes to members, landowners, and other people interested in land conservation. Click here for the latest newsletter.
Each year Bear-Paw also hosts estate planning and land protection workshops, “community roundtables,” fieldtrips, guided walks on conservation lands, other educational events. We also generate additional funding and build awareness through our Down-from-the-Hill blue grass concerts, our annual meeting, a “Biothon,” and other events that are open to the community. Bear-Paw often distributes Press Releases to let our members and the public know about upcoming events, our activities, and projects. Click here for a list of Bear-Paw press releases. |
