Bear-Paw Regional Greenways relies on the generosity of individuals, foundations, and businesses to support its efforts to conserve the region's most important natural areas. Please consider helping us to protect land for our future.

Bear-Paw has over 200 members and, in 2006, we raised almost $40,000 through memberships, contributions, and fundraising events to support our work. We also collected other funding through grants and municipal appropriations to support the transaction and acquisition costs associated with land protection projects completed.

There are many ways to contribute to Bear-Paw's success:

Memberships
 

Many contributors offer support to Bear-Paw each year in the form of a membership contribution. By becoming a member of Bear-Paw, you will join hundreds of contributors whose support makes a critical difference in preserving our environment. As a member of Bear-Paw, you will receive Bear-Paw Print, our bi-annual newsletter and invitations to workshops, fieldtrips and other events. You can also give Bear-Paw gift memberships.  Not only do you support our efforts, but you also introduce us to other thoughtful and like-minded people who care about the Bear-Paw region.

Businesses can also become members -  a relationship with Bear-Paw Regional Greenways offers your company a variety of benefits while acknowledging the critical support you provide. Our members will be glad to know that they support businesses that share their belief in the importance of land conservation in our region.

Other Contributions:  Appeals, Honorary and Memorial Gifts, and Fund Raising Events
 

Once or twice a year, Bear-Paw asks its members and other contributors to consider supporting Bear-Paw initiatives – over and above their regular membership contribution. Your generous contributions in response to special appeals will be put to good use. You may also designate your contribution to your particular area of interest.

Bear-Paw also holds several educational and fundraising events each year to raise awareness and additional funding to support our programs. Please consider supporting Bear-Paw by attending our Down-from-the-Hill musical events, by contributing to the annual Biothon, and through other events.

A gift to Bear-Paw is also a wonderful way to honor a friend's birthday, a couple's wedding day, or some other special event. It can also be a meaningful way to mark the passing of a friend or family member who loved the special places we protect.
